The content mentions the taking of the paṃsukula (discard cloth). Paṃsukula cloth means the cloth is placed on a copse, a coffin, or on the string to the copse. A monk can take that cloth and cut and sew it to make as a robe called paṃsukulacīvara (rag-robe). The taking of the rag-cloth refers to the words said by the monks when taking the cloth. When bhikkhu is going to take the cloth of paṃsukula that does not have an owner, he should say the words "Imaṃ paṃsukulaṃ paccayaṃ adhitthami ". Colophon: Folio 7 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat one hundred 810 (corresponding with CS 1080), a hwai si year, on the seventh day of the waning moon of the first lunar month, the fourth day of the week (Wednesday), a kat mao day, the writing was accomplished at the time of thae kai kham (betweeen 15.00–16.30 o’clock). Chao Somdet Khamphirapannya had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sòng Attha and Sòng Bangsakun (Rewards derived from the donation of offerings and rag-robes). May this be a condition for us to reach Nirvana. May my desires and wishes come true. May the results of this merit support my parents and all my siblings, definitely. A kap chai day.
