The Scripture of Lokapaññatti with the whole text of written in Pali, composed by Phra Saddhammaghosa Thera, and divided into 16 chapterss as follows: Chapter 1: on the causes of earthquakes. Chapter 2: on trees and the meaning of the continent. Chapter 3: on the 6 big countries. Chapter 4: the beginning part is on the giants and the last part on the origin of demons. Chapter 5: on the elephants, mountains and trees. Chapter 6: on the 4 big continents. Chapter 7: on the mountains. Chapter 8: on the angels and things in the heavens. Chapter 9: on the moon and the sun, Chapter 10: on the day and the night, Chapter 11: the beginning in on the beings going to hells and heavens, and the last on the decay and prosperity of eons. Chapter 12: on the age of beings in the human world, hells and heavens. Chapter 14: on the 8 big hells. Chapter 15: The beginning is on the peta and the last is about the human world and the divine world crumble. Chapter 16: the beginning is about the beasts and the last is about the change of the world. Colophon: Folio 26 on the verso side: In Chunlasangkat 182 (corresponding with CS 1182), a kot si year, on the seventh day of the waning moon of the seventh lunar month, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), a poek san day. Akkhavòrarasakhuchao (Great Abbot) from Vat Phon Kaeo offered gold and silver to His Majesty King of the kingdom of Chanthaburi in order to sponsor the making of the manuscripts of Tipitaka and to support the Teachings of the Buddha in Luang Prabang. The writing of this manuscript was accomplished at the time of the kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock).
