ນິທານທໍາມະບົດ ເລື່ອງບັນພະຊິດ ໓ ອົງ. ໃນສະໄໝໜຶ່ງ ພະຜູ້ມີພະພາກເຈົ້າຊົງປະທັບຢູ່ວັດເຊຕະວັນ ເມືອງສາວັດຖີ ຊົງປາຣົບບັນພະຊິດ ໓ ອົງ. ຄັ້ງໜຶ່ງ ທີ່ເມືອງສາວັດຖີ ມີຄອບຄົວໜຶ່ງ ມີລູກຊາຍຄົນດຽວໄດ້ອອກບວດເປັນພິກຂຸ ໄປຢູ່ໃນສໍານັກຂອງພິກຂຸທັງຫຼາຍ ຕໍ່ມາ ບິດາກໍ່ອອກບວດຕາມລູກຊາຍ ແລ້ວໄປຢູ່ໃນສໍານັກດຽວກັນ ແລະຕໍ່ມາ ມານດາກໍ່ອອກບວດເປັຍພິກຂຸນີ ໄປຢູ່ໃນສໍານັກພິຂຸນີ ທັງສາມຄົນໄດ້ໄປມາຫາສູ່ກັນ ວັນໆໝົດໄປດ້ວຍການໄປມາຫາສູ່ກັນ ຈົນເປັນທີ່ເດືອດຮ້ອນແກ້ພິກຂຸທັງຫຼາຍ. ພິກຂຸທັງຫຼາຍ ຈຶ່ງຂາບທູນພຶດຕິກໍາຂອງບັນພະຊິດທັງສາມແດ່ພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າ, ພະພຸດທະອົງຈຶ່ງຮຽກບັນພະຊິດທັງສາມນັ້ນມາຕັກເຕືອນ ແຕ່ທັງສາມຄຶດວ່າ ພວກເຮົາບໍ່ສາມາດແຍກຈາກກັນໄດ້ ຈຶ່ງພາກັນສິກໄປບ້ານຕາມເດີມ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ່ ໒໕ ໜ້າ ໑: ຈຸນລະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ໑໙໖ (໑໑໙໖) ຕົວປີກາບສະງ້າ ເດືອນ ໑໐ ແຮມ ໒ ຄໍ່າ ພໍາວ່າໄດ້ ໖ ມື້ກັດເຮົ້າ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມແຖ່ໃກ້ຄໍ່າ ໝາຍມີເຈົ້າມະຫາຂະຫນານພຸດທະວົງສາໄດ້ມີໃຈໃສສັດທາສ້າງລໍາທໍາມະປັດທະ ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາພະໂຄຕະມະເຈົ້າ ຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ວັດສາ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍໂຫຕຸໂນ ສາທຸ ສາທຸ ອະນຸໂມທາມິ.

Dhammapada story of the three ordained persons. On one occasion, while residing at the Jetavana monastery, the Buddha spoke to monks about the three ordained persons. Once in Savatthi, a family with only one son who was ordained as a monk and lived in the monks’ place. Later, the father was ordained as a monk following his sun and lived in the same monastery. Later, the mother was ordained as a female monk and lived in the place of the bhikkhuni. The three of them, even though they were ordained, still come to see each other. The days were over with regular meeetings and conversations. This made the other monks trouble. Thus the monks reported their behaviors to the Buddha. The Buddha called the three monks and admonished them. But they thought that we can not be saperate. Finally, they all disrobed and returned their home as before. Colophon: Folio 25 on the recto side: Chunlasangkatrasa 196 (corresponding with CS 1196), a kap sanga year, the second day of the waning moon of the tenth lunar month, the sixth day of the week (Friday), a kat hao day, the writing was accomplished at the time of thae kai kham (between 15.00-16.30 o’clock). Chao Maha Phutthavongsa Viraya[pan]nya from Vat Phonsaiyaramathipadi had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Thammapattha, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May wishes and desires come true. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna. Amen, amen!.
