ເນື້ອໃນເປັນນພາສາບາລີ ພະສົງໃຊ້ສູດໃນພິທີປະວາຣະນາ ໃນວັນອອກພັນສາ. ປະວາຣະນາ ໝາຍເຖິງ ຍອມໃຫ້ວ່າກ່າວຕັກເຕືອນ, ເປີດໂອກາດໃຫ້ວ່າກ່າວຕັກເຕືອນ ເປັນຊື່ສັງຄະກໍາທີ່ພະສົງທໍາໃນວັນສຸດທ້າຍແຫ່ງການຈໍາວັດສາ ຄືໃນວັນຂຶ້ນ ໑໕ ຄໍ່າ ເດືອນ ໑໑ ຮຽກວ່າ ວັນມະຫາປະວາຣະນາ. ພິກຂຸສົງຈະນິມົນພິກຂຸອົງອື່ນໃຫ້ເວົ້າກ່ຽວກັບຄວາມຜິດຫຼືພຶດຕິກໍາທີ່ບໍ່ເໝາະສົມທີ່ພວກເພິ່ນໄດ້ເຫັນ, ໄດ້ຍິນຫຼືສົງໄສວ່າໄດ້ກະທໍາໃນຊ່ວງເຂົ້າວັດສາ.

The text is written in Pali used by monks in the ceremony of on the day of the end of the Buddhist Lent. Pavāranā refers to the act of inviting other to speak of one’s offence or any unbecoming behaviour. It is the name of the ecclesiastical ceremony performed on the last day of the Buddhist Lent, which is on the 15th day of the waxing moon of the 11th lunar month. The day is called Maha pavarana. Monks invite one another to speak of any offences or unbecoming behaviour they have seen, heard or suspected to have been committed during the rains.
