ສັງກາດພະນິບພານ ກ່າວເຖິງປະຫວັດແລະການດໍາລົງຢູ່ຂອງພະເຈົ້າທັງ ໕ ພະອົງ ຊຶ່ງແຕ່ລະພະອົງກໍມີການເຜີຍແຜ່ພະສາສະໜາ ແລະມີອາຍຸໄຂຂອງການດໍາລົງຢູ່ທີ່ແຕກຕ່າງກັນ. ໃນສ່ວນປາຍ ກ່າວເຖິງ ພຸດທະທໍານາຍວ່າ ເມື່ອສາສະໜາຂອງຕະຖາຄົດລ່ວງໄປໄດ້ ໕໐໐ ປີ ຈະຫານາງພິກຂຸນີນັ້ນກໍບໍ່ມີ, ເມື່ອລ່ວງໄປໄດ້ ໑,໐໐໐ ປີ ກໍຈັກຫາພະອໍລະຫັນບໍ່ມີ, ເມື່ອລ່ວງໄປໄດ້ ໒,໐໐໐ ປີ ກໍຈັກຫານັກປາດຜູ້ສະຫຼຽວສະຫຼາດກໍບໍ່ມີ, ເມື່ອລ່ວງໄປໄດ້ ໓,໐໐໐ ປີ ກໍຈັກຫາພະສົງນຸ່ງຫົ່ມຈີວອນ ບໍ່ມີ, ເມື່ອລ່ວງໄປໄດ້ ໔,໐໐໐ ປີ ຈັກຫາຜູ້ທີ່ຮັກສາສີນອຸໂບສົດ ບໍ່ມີ, ເມື່ອລ່ວງໄປໄດ້ ໕,໐໐໐ ປີ ຈັກມີແຕ່ຜ້າເຫລືອງນ້ອຍຫ້ອຍຫຸ່ນກໍສໍາຄັນວ່າເປັນພະສົງ ອົງວິເສດ. ເມື່ອສິ້ນອາຍຸໄຂຂອງສາສະໜາພະໂຄຕະມະແລ້ວ ພະສີອາລິຍະເມດໄຕຈັກລົງມາເກີດແລະເຜີຍແຜ່ສາສະໜາສືບຕໍ່ໄປ.

The text of Sangkat phanipphan tells the story and existences of the five Buddhas. The propagation of the teachings and the period of existence of each Buddha are different. The last part tells the Buddha’s predictions on his own Teachings. In the religion of our Gotama Buddha, after 500 years of Buddhist Era, there would not have a Bhikkhini (a female monk), after 1,000 years no Arahats, after 2,000 years no philosophers, after 3,000 years no Buddhist monk, after 4,000 years, it is hard to find monks to assemble for listening to the recitation of the Patimokkha, and after 5,000 years, there will have only persons who have a small piece of the yellow robe putting on their shoulders and are supposed as monks.only a small piece of a yellow robe recognised as a symbal of Buddhist monks. Thereafter the next Buddha, Aryamettaya will be born and become a Buddha and teach the world.
