ສູດທາດ ໔ ຂັນ ໕ ເປັນພິທີກໍາໜຶ່ງທີ່ສູດໃຫ້ຜູ້ປ່ວຍ ເພື່ອໃຫ້ຜູ້ປ່ວຍນັ້ນມີກໍາລັງໃຈແລະຟື້ນຈາກອາການປ່ວຍນັ້ນ. ທາດ ໔ ໝາຍເຖິງ ດິນ, ນໍ້າ, ລົມ ແລະໄຟ. ຂັນ ໕ ໝາຍເຖິງ ຮູບຂັນ, ເວທະນາຂັນ, ສັນຍາຂັນ, ສັງຂານຂັນ ແລະວິນຍານຂັນ. ທາດ ໔ ຂັນ ໕ ກໍ່ຄືສິ່ງທີ່ມີຢູ່ຮ່າງກາຍຫຼືຕົວຕົນຂອງເຮົານີ້. ການສູດທາດ ໔ ຂັນ ໕ ຈະຕ້ອງມີເຄື່ອງສັກກາລະບູຊາ ປະກອບດ້ວຍ ກ້ວຍ, ອ້ອຍ, ໝ້ຽງ, ໝາກ, ທູບ, ທຽນ, ເຂົ້າຕອກ ແລະດອກໄມ້.

The chanting of the four elements and 5 aggregates is a ritual for a long patient in order to provide him or her with encouragement and get recovered. 4 elements consist of earth, water, air, and fire. 5 aggregates consist of form, sensation, perception, mental formation, and consciousness. 4 elements and 5 aggregates are the things that exist in our body. The chanting of the four elements and 5 aggregates has to have offerings including bananas, sugar canes, betel nuts, incense-sticks, candles, popped rice and flowers.
