In the Buddha’s time, there was a monk, while he was walking for collecting alms he saw a gild, and he suddenly fell in love with her. He returned to the temple, he left his bowl and lied down and refused to eat and drink. When one of his friend monks knew, he reported the Buddha. The Buddha then preached a sermon on the tale of this Sangkanibat in order to teach and recall to mind ot the monk. Colophon: Folio 21 on the verso side: Buddhist Era (BE) 2497, a kap sanga year, the sixth day of the waning moon of the twelfth lunar month, the fourth day of the week (Wednesday), the writing was accomplished at 2.00 p.m. Somdet Phasangkharat Maharasakhru (Supreme Patriarch) Thammanyano from Vat Mai Suvannaphummaram is the sponsor of the making of this manuscript, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit be the path and fruition to attain Nibbāna in the future.
