ຍອດທໍາ (ຜູກ ໔)

ໜັງສືຍອດທໍາຫຼືຈຸນທະສຸກະຣິກະສູດ ມີ ໔ ຜູກ. ສອງຜູກຕົ້ນຂຽນເປັນພາລາບາລີແລະສອງຜູກຫຼັງອະທິບາຍເປັນພາສາລາວ. ໜັງສືຍອດທໍານິຍົມໃຊ້ເທດໃນພິທີບຸນທີ່ຮຽກວ່າເທດຍອດທໍາ ໂດຍພະສົງ ໔ ອົງ. ທີ່ຮຽກວ່າ ຍອດທໍາເພາະເປັນຍອດແຫ່ງທໍາທັງຫຼາຍທັງ ໘,໔໐໐໐ ຂັນ. ເນື້ອໃນກ່າວເຖິງອານິສົງທີ່ເກີດຈາກການໄດ້ຟັງຍັງທໍາມະເທສະໜາອັນຊືວ່າ ຈຸນທະສຸກະຣິກະສູດ. ພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າໄດ້ເລົ່າເລື່ອງອະດີດຕະຊາດຂອງພະອົງໃຫ້ພະພິກຂຸສົງຟັງ ປາງເມື່ອພະໂພທິສັດເຈົ້າເກີດເປັນເສນາບໍໍດີຊື່ວ່າ ທໍາມິກະບັນດິດ ຢູ່ເມືອງສີວິຣັດຖະ ໄດ້ຟັງທໍາມະເທສະໜາອັນຊື່ວ່າ ຈຸນທະສຸກະຣິກະສູດ ແລະໄດ້ຖວາຍເຄື່ອງອັດຖະບໍລະຂານແກ່ເຈົ້າພິກຂຸ ໔ ອົງ. ດ້ວຍເຕຊະບຸນອັນນັ້ນ ກໍ່ເກີດລັດສະໝີຮຸ່ງເຮືອງຂຶ້ນເມື່ອຮອດຕາວະຕິງສາ. ເມື່ອພະອິນຊາບ ກໍ່ແຕ່ງໃຫ້ມາຕະລີເທບພະບຸດລົງມາເຊີນເອົາ ທໍາມິກະບັນດິດ ຂຶ້ນໄປເທິງສະຫວັນ ແລະເຊີນພະໂພທິສັດເຈົ້າສະເຫວີຍສົມບັດທິບຢູ່ເມືອງສະຫວັນ ແຕ່ພະໂພທິສັດເຈົ້າບໍ່ຮັບ ໄດ້ຕອບພະອິນວ່າ ພະອົງຕ້ອງໄດ້ສ້າງສົມພານຢູ່ໃນເມືອງມະນຸດກ່ອນ ແລ້ວຄ່ອຍມາທີຫຼັງ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ ໑໔ ໜ້າ ໒: ຈຸນລະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ໙໑໖ (ກົງກັບ ຈ.ສ. ໑໑໙໖) ຕົວ ປີກາບສະງ້າ ມື້ເປິກສີ ເດືອນ ໓ ຂຶ້ນ ໘ ຄໍ່າ ວັນພະຫັດ ແລ້ວຍາມກອງງາຍ ພໍ່ຄໍາສຸກແລະແມ່ຄໍາສຸກ ມີໃຈໃສສັດທາສ້າງໜັງສື ຍອດທໍາ ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາ ເທົ້າ ໕໐໐໐ ພະວັດສາ ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ ນິດຈັງ ທຸວັງ ທຸວັງ.

Nyòttham or Cundasukarikasutta consists of four fascicles. The first two fascicles are written Pali and the other two fascicles are explanation into Lao. It is called yòttham (peak of the Dhamma) as it is integrated all the Dhamma of 84,000 categories. The content tells about the rewards derived from listening to the preaching of the Cundasukarikasutta. The Buddha told the monks about the story of his previous life. The Bodhisatta was reborn as a minister named Dhammikabandit in Sivirattha nakhon. He listened to the preaching of the Cundasukarikasutta and offered the eight requisites to four monks. Due to the power of the merit, there was an effulgent light up to Tāvatiṃsa heaven. When Indra knew, he ordered Matali devaputta came down to the earth and brought Dhammakabandit to the heaven. After conversation, Indra invited the Bodhisatta lived in the heaven. But the Bodhisatta declined and told Indra that he has to collect perfections in the world. He would come later. Colophon: Folio 14 on the verso side: Sangkatrasa 916 (corresponding with CS 1196), a kap sanga year, on a poek si day, the eighth day of the waxing moon of the third lunar month, Thursday, the writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Pho Khamsuk and Mae Khamsuk (father and mother of Khamsuk) had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Nyòttham, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hontu niccaṃ dhuvaṃ (May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna constantly and certainly).
