Arabic Letter Book 6th January, 1886-22nd November 1887

The volume contains 98 letters written by Governors Rowe and Hay as well was by local rulers in nearby areas, especially at Port Loko and North Bulom. The volume either includes the date when the letter was written or when it was received at the Government House. They deal with trading routes, succcession, stipends, and troubles in Yoni country.

Condition of original material: The spine is broken and the cover is brittle.
