This material is a Tamil palm-leaf manuscript titled ‘Tirumurukāṟṟu padai’ from Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. The manuscript is severely damaged and deteriorated, rendering the text illegible; thus, it is difficult to determine the author and exact age of the manuscript. However, it is estimated to be from 1801-1850. Tirumurukāṟṟu padai is recited by Arunakirinathar. This manuscript has subtitles as Iḷamaimurukāṟṟu, varumurukāṟṟu, porumurukāṟṟu, vēlēntu murukāṟṟu, iyalmurukāṟṟu, aṉimurukāṟṟu, arumurukāṟṟu, arumurukāṟṟu, mantiramurukāṟṟu, tirumurukāṟṟu, tarumurukāṟṟu. It also has mantras of Lord Muruga. This manuscript has many symbols and signs. It has 94 pages and the letters are clear to read. Extent: 94.0.
