கம்பராமாயணம் : பால காண்டம்

This work Kambaramayanam of Kambar has six divisions as Bala, Ayothiya, Aranya, Kishkinda, Sundara and Yuddha kandas with 123 chapters. It depects the life of Rama in Tamil languages. This manuscript has 21 chapters from first chapter Aatruppadalam to 21st chapter meetchip padalam with 1415 stanzas. This manuscript dealt with birth of Rama to his coronation function in Bala kandam. பால காண்டம், அயோத்தியா காண்டம், ஆரண்யக் காண்டம், கிட்கிந்தா காண்டம், சுந்தர காண்டம், யுத்தக் காண்டம் ஆக ஆறு காண்டங்களையும் 123 படலங்களையும் கொண்ட இராமபிரானின் வாழ்க்கை வரலாற்றை கம்பர் படைத்துள்ளார். இதில் முதலாவது ஆற்றுப்படலம் முதல் இருபத்தொன்பதாவது மீட்சி பரசுராமப் படலம் வரை 1415 பாடல்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன. இராமனின் பிறப்பு தொடங்கி முடிசூட்டு விழா வரையிலான அவனுடைய இளமைக் கால வரலாற்றினை எடுத்துரைப்பதாக பால காண்டம் அமைந்துள்ளது.
