தண்டலையார் சதகம்

This manuscript Thandaliyar satakam was recited by Padikasu pulavar. This work is also called proverb interpretation. The description of this work is based on the selection of one hundred proverbs from the common proverbs in the country and one hundred songs with each proverb in each song. It has start with leaf no from 31 to 56 stanzas. Leaf nos. 1 – 15 are missing. படிக்காசுப் புலரால் பாடப்பெற்றது தண்டலையார் சதகம். இதனைப் பழமொழி விளக்கம் என்றும் அழைப்பர். நாட்டில் வழக்கத்தில் உள்ள பழமொழிகளில் நூறு பழமொழிகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து ஒவ்வொரு பழமொழியும் ஒவ்வொரு பாடலில் அமையுமாறு நூறு பாடல்கள் கொண்டதாக அமைந்ததே தண்டலையார் சதகம் என்னும் பழமொழி விளக்கம். இச்சுவடியில் 31ஆம் பாடல் தொடங்கி 56ஆம் பாடல் வரையே பாடல்கள் உள்ளன. ஏட்டெண் 1-15 ஆகிய ஏடுகள் இல்லை.
