Condition of original material: Some loose fragments; few pages repaired using sellotape; Slight chemical damage.
Custodial history: The Governor of the Gold Coast colony enacted an ordinance for the registration of instruments dated 24th March, 1883 and cited as Registration Ordinance number 8 of 1883. Registry Office was established in Victoriaborg - Accra and Cape Coast to execute instruments for registration by the Registrar, which instruments include Wills, Letters of Administration and Grants affecting Lands registration, etc.
