Kumman or Kumāra the eighth episode of a total of 13 episodes of the Vessantara Jataka with 101 verses. At dawn on the next morning, Jujaka waited until Princess Maddi went away for finding for fruits. He then came out and begged to have Prince Jali and Princess Kanha from Vessantara. The two children realized that the Brahmin begging them, they were so scared and concealed themselves under the lotus leaves in the pond.
