The content texts the results of bad deeds of many ghosts who fell into hells. At the time when all those ghosts were still human beings, they were greedy, immoral, did not give alms and were stingy. When those people died, they went to hell, some of them were burned and some were stabbed with iron, suffering, crying, and starving. When those ghosts heard the voice of human beings offering alms, they ran towards the voice but found that it was a hollow voice. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Sangkat 1212, a kot set year, the eighth day of the waxing moon of the eighth lunar month, the second day of the week (Monday), a kat khai day, the writing was accomplished at the time of tut sai (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). The royal king sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Sathammopanyana to support the Teachings [of the Buddha] to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna certainly and constantly.
