The text tells the law of action and the retributions of action. Moreover, the text also described the ten ways of making merit including merit acquired by giving, by observing the precepts or moral behavioue, by mental development, by humility or reverence, by rendering services, by sharing or giving out merit, by rejoicing in others’ merit, by listening to the Doctrine or right teaching, by teaching the Doctrine or showing truth, and by straightening one’s views or forming correc views. Colophon: Folio 27 on the recto side: Sangkat 1212, a kot set year, the eighth day of the waxing moon of the eighth lunar month, a Monday, a kat khai day, the writing was accomplished at the time of tut sai (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). The royal king sponsored the making of this manuscript entitled Sathammopanyana to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna certainly and constantly.
