The people of Videharaja city asked King Aditavamsa the father to drive his royal son King Sivijaya out of Videhara city. King Aditavamsa had to agree and follow the request of the people. He then sent someone to inform his son. When King Srivijaya learned of the matter, he did not argue in any way. He said goodbye to all the people and left the city together with his queen Srivayakadevi and his son and her daughter namely Manosrivaya and Samuddhacha heading into the Mount Vanga for performing the perfection of morality.
