ເນື້ອຫາໃນຜູກນີ້ອະທິບາຍເຖິງບຸກຄົນທີ່ພິກຂຸຄວນບວດໃຫ້ ແລະ ບໍ່ຄວນບວດໃຫ້ ຖ້າພິກຂຸຕົນໃດບວດໃຫ້ບຸກຄົນທີ່ບໍ່ສົມຄວນບວດແມ່ນຕ້ອງອາບັດທຸກົດ. ບຸກຄົນທີ່ບໍ່ຄວນບວດໃຫ້ມີດັ່ງນີ້: ບໍ່ຄວນບວດໃຫ້ໂຈນ, ບໍ່ຄວນບວດໃຫ້ບຸກຄົນທີ່ເປັນໜີ້ຜູ້ອື່ນ, ບໍ່ຄວນບວດໃຫ້ບ່າວ ຫຼື ຄົນໃຊ້ຂອງທ້າວພະຍາ, ບໍ່ຄວນບວດໃຫ້ທາສີ-ທາສາ ທີ່ເຈົ້ານາຍເຂົາບໍ່ອານຸຍາດ, ບໍ່ຄວນບວດໃຫ້ເດັກທີ່ພໍ່ແມ່ເຂົາບໍ່ອະນຸຍາດ. ຄວນບວດໃຫ້ຜູ້ທີ່ເຄີຍເປັນໂຈນ ລະບາບແລ້ວຖືສີນ ໕ ສີນ ໘, ຄວນບວດໃຫ້ເດັກນ້ອຍອະນາຖາທີ່ບໍ່ມີບ່ອນເພິ່ງ, ຄວນບວດໃຫ້ຜູ້ທີ່ໄດ້ຮັບອະນຸຍາດຈາກຜູ້ປົກຄອງ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: (໑) ລານທີ່ ໑ ໜ້າ ໒: ຈຸນລະສັງກາດຣາຊາໄດ້ ໑໒໖໖ ຕົວປີກາບສີ່ ເດືອນ ໘ ແຮມ ໔ ຄໍ່າ ວັນ ໕ ມື້ຮາຍສັນ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວ ໝາຍມີ ມະຫາຣາຊະຄູເຈົ້າໂພທິປັນຍາ ວັດຖໍ້າ ສີວິໄລ ເປັນຜູ້ຣິດຈະນາ ມີເພັຍຫອມສົມບັດ ຜົວເມຍ ເປັນສັດທາ ພ້ອມກັນສ້າງໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາພະເຈົ້າ ຕາບເທົ້າ ໕ ພັນປີ. ຂໍຜະລະບຸນຍະຣາສີມາຄໍ້າຊູໄປໄຈວ້ ໆ ຕາບເທົ້າໃຫ້ຍັງຝູງຂ້າທັງຫລາຍໄດ້ເຂົ້າຊູ່ນີຣະພານກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ. ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ ໂນ ນິດຈັງ ທຸວັງ ປະຣະມັງ ສຸກຂັງ ອະຫັງ ກັດສະໂປ ໂຫມິ ສັນຕິເກ ອະຣິຍະເມດໄຕໂຍ ອະນະຄະເຕ ກາເລ. (໒) ລານທີ່ ໒໔ ໜ້າ ໑: ຈຸນລະສັງກາດຣາຊະໄດ້ ໑໒໖໗ ຕົວ ປີຮັບໃສ້ ເດືອນ ໘ ຂຶ້ນຄໍ່າ ໑ ວັນ ໒ ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວ ໝາຍມີ [ມະ]ຫາສົມເດັດສັງຄະຊາໂພທິປັນຍາ ວັດລ້ອງຄຸນ ໄດ້ສະແຫວງຫານໍາມາ ຍັງທໍາ ສັງຄະຫະປາກອນ ອັນນີ້ ມາເບິ່ງດູກໍ່ບັງເກີດມີໂສມະນັດ ອະສັງຂາຣິກກະ ຍານະສໍາປະຍຸດ ກຸສະລະເຈຕະນາເຫຼື້ອມໃສເປັນ[ອັນ]ຍິ່ງ ຈິ່ງໄດ້ໄປເມດຕາໃຫ້ ເພັຍຫອມສົມບັດ ຜົວເມຍ ຢູ່ກອຍວັດຊຽງທອງ ໃຫ້ເປັນສັດທາ ຂ້າພະເຈົ້າ ໂພທິປັນຍາ ເປັນຜູ້ຣິດຈະນາໃຫ້ແລ້ວບໍລິບວນ ຍັງທໍາມະດວງນີ້ ສ້າງໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າຕາບຕໍ່ເທົ້າເຖິງ ໕ ພັນວັດສາ ຂໍໃຫ້ຝູງຂ້າທັງຫລາຍໄດ້ດັ່ງຄໍາມັກຄໍາປາດຖະໜາ ໄປທຸກສິ່ງທຸກອັນແລ້ວ ຂໍໃຫ້ຝູງຂ້າທັງຫລາຍນີ້ໄດ້ເຂົ້າສູ່ວຽງແກ້ວຄືວ່ານີຣະພານກໍ່[ຂ້າ]ເທີ້ນ. ນິບພານະ ປັດຈະໂຍ ໂຫຕຸ ໂນ ນິດຈັງ ທຸວັງ ທຸວັງ ປະຣະມັງ ສຸກຂັງ ທ່ຽງແທ້ດີຫລີ ກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ ສາທຸ ສາທຸ ສາທຸ.

The content in this first manuscript of Sangaha pakarana tells the person who is worthy or prohibited for the ordination as a monk. The monk who has ordained the forbidden person is against the dukata offence. The person who is forbidden for the ordination as following: a bandit, a debtor, a servant of the noble man, the slave who is not allowed by his or her boss, the boy who is not allowed by his parents. The person who is worthy for the ordination as following: a bandit who stopped doing evil but observing the precepts, an orphan, the person who is allowed by his parents. Colophons: (1) Folio 1 on the verso side: Chunlasangkat (CS) 1266, a kap si year, the fourth day of the waning moon of the eighth lunar month, the fifth day of the week, a hwai san day, the writing was accomplished. Maha Rasakhuchao Phothipannya from Vat Tham Sivilai is the scribe. Phia Hòm Sombat and his wife are the sponsors the making of this Dhamma script to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the benefits of this merit support us regulary to last until we all attain Nibbāna. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna which is the greatest bliss. Ahaṃ kassapo homi santike ariyametteyo anāgate kāle. (2) Folio 24 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat (CS) 1267, a hap sai year, the first day of the waxing moon of the eighth lunar month, the second day of the week (Monday), the writing was accomplished. Maha Somdet Sangkhasa Phothipannya from Vat Long Khun strived to seek for this manuscript of Sangkhahapakon. After reading, the Venerable had much mental happiness, asaṃkhārika ñānasampayutta kusala and the most ardent religious faith and asks Phia Hòmsombat and his wife who lived at the back of Vat Xiang Thong to sponsor the making of this manuscript. I am Phothipannya the scribe and accomplished this manuscript, in order to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our wishes and desires come true, may we enter the crystal city which is Nibbāna. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna which is the greatest bliss definitely. Amen, amen, amen!.
