໘ ໝື່ນ (ຜູກ ໕)

The content tells about the sutta that gives a parable like a poisonous snake, means the study of Buddha's teachings. If we study it in a wrong way, we will act wrongly, which will cause punishment or suffering and the consequences will cause suffering. The parable is like a man wanted to catch a poisonous snake, even though he knew it is a poisonous snake, he still wanted to catch it. When he caught it, he didn't catch it properly. Therefore, he was killed by the snake. In the last part tells about the five sects of the Suttanta Pitaka including 1. Dīgha-nikāya (Collection of long discourses), 2. Majjhima-nikāya (Collection of middle-length discourses), 3. Saṃyutta-nikāya (Collection of connected discourses), 4. Aṅguttara-nikāya (Collection of numerical sayings), and 5. Khuddaka-nikāya (Small collection). Colophon: Folio 27 on the recto side: In Chunlasangkatrasa (CS) 1217, a hap mao year, on the eleventh day of the waxing moon of the twelfth lunar month, the third day of the week (Tuesday), a huang mot day, the writing was accomplished at the time of tut tang (between 6.00–7.30 o’clock). Sao Khamphaeng had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] 8 Mün (eighty thousand) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
