Prayers with the whole text written in Pali are used by monks, novices and Buddhists in the chanting ceremony and other Buddhist ceremonies. Colophon: Folio 21 on the recto side: Chunlasangkat (CS) 1254, a tao si year, on the eleventh day of the waning moon of the fourth lunar month, a kot set day, a Monday, the writing was accomplished at the time of thae kai kham (between 15.00–16.30 o’clock). Princess Vaen and Prince Suk together with their children sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sapphasut (Various prayers) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May all our wishes and desires be fulfilled. Anagate kale arahanto homi Nibbāna paccayo hotu no (May I attain arahatship in the future, may this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna).
