The final existence of Metteyya Bodhisatta. When the Bodhisatta becomes an ascetic, there will have Brahmins, kings, rich men, housholds, merchants and people follow him as ascetics. All these people have practiced and fulfilled the perfections durinf their previous existences. The Bodhisatta will practice meditaion in crystal castle for seven days. On the eight day, he will practice the absorptions and move from the castle to receive the rice porridge from Queen Candamukkhidevi. After the meal, he will throw the gold tray on the river of Salanhini. The gold tray will go to the place where other gold trays of the four previous Buddhas are. Thereafter, the Bodhisatta will have attained enlightenment on the coming day. Colophon: Folio 26 on the recto side: Sangkat (CS) 1263, a huang pao year, on the eleventh day of the waning moon of the third lunar month, the fifth day of the week (Thursday), the writing was accomplished at the time of thae kai thiang van (between 9.00–10.30 o’clock). Maha Somdet Sanghasa Rattanapannya and Buddhist men and women had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Metteyyasut, to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Sudinnaṃ vatta me dānaṃ nibbāna paccayo hotu no (May the alms that I have already given be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna).
