Bunge Alejandro E [1920s-1960s]

Description: Alejandro Bunge (1880 - 1943) was one of the most significant Argentine economists who taught at the University of Buenos Aires, founded the magazine Revista de Economía Argentina, and was a permanent member of the Statistics Department. He studied engineer in Germany and belonged to the rich family and successful cereal enterprise Bunge & Borne, still in existence. He had as students selected figures in Argentine economy such as Federico Pinedo and Raul Prebisch. See, Altamirano, Carlos, Intelectuales. This handmade envelope contains three envelopes with photos, engravings, magazines’ and newspapers’ clippings and articles, drawings, and speeches that were given during Alejandro Bunge's funeral.
