estate settlement proceedings for Paula de Agudelo, who passed away in the hamlet of Nuestra Señora de Sopetrán in 1697, consists of a testamentary memorandum wherein she stated her ownership of land and cattle The notary Alonso García de Galvis invalidated said memorandum and requested an inventory of the assets, also denouncing that the missionary priest Miguel Jerónimo de Montoya and others had gone to collect the livestock that the deceased had left in the site of El Tablazo Francisco José de la Serna Palacio, a vicar and ecclesiastical judge of the city of Antioquia, and Commissary of the Holy Office of the Inquisition, instructed Montoya to return the heads of livestock or face major excommunication The missionary priest argued that he was still owed money for burial expenses As no heirs were identified, the assets were delivered to the deceased's siblings.
Mortuoria de Paula de Agudelo, quien murió en el poblado de Nuestra Señora de Sopetrán en 1697. Incluye memoria testamental en la que declaró poseer tierras y ganado vacuno. El escribano Alonso García de Galvis anuló dicha memoria y solicitó el avalúo de los bienes, a su vez, denunció que el cura doctrinero Miguel Jerónimo de Montoya junto a otras personas habían ido a recoger el ganado que la difunta dejó en el sitio de El Tablazo. Francisco José de la Serna Palacio, cura vicario y juez eclesiástico de la ciudad de Antioquia y comisionado del Santo Oficio de la Inquisición, conminó a Montoya a devolver las reses, so pena de excomunión mayor. El cura doctrinero replicó que aún le debían los gastos del entierro. Al no haber nombrado herederos, los bienes fueron entregados a los hermanos de la difunta.
