Why do you go to the temple and what is the purpose? He replied that he went to the temple because he wanted to study the teachings of Buddhism. When he studied the teachings and understood them, he would be able to act according to the teachings of the Buddha. 2. Ask that when you have studied the teachings of the Buddha, what must be studied first, what is the middle and what is the last? Answer that first he has to learn to know the Buddha, the Dhamma, the Sangha and the 5 precepts first, in the middle he has to learn meditation and finally he has to learn to consider the Dhamma with wisdom according to the Buddha’s teaching.
