Wearing shirt,veshti,flower garland(poomalai),gold jewel tied with a thread on the wedded couple's forehead (patam),bangles(valayal) and towel(thundu). There is a kalasam (pot filled with holy water and the mouth is decorated with mango leaves that are held in place by a coconut placed over it) placed in the centre of a tied with thread to four small kalasam placed in a squared angled. At the entrance of the house, a thatch awning is done.
