The story tells while dwelling at the Jetavanna monastery in Savatthi city, the Buddha spoke about a poor man who was faithful in the Buddha’s teachings. He made a staircase for monks and novices to pass through during their collecting alms. After the death, the poor man went to Tavatimsa heaven and belongs a castle decorating with seven kinds of glass. Colophon: Folio 7 on the recto side: Si si sumangkhala Chunlasangkat (CS) 1331, a kat hao year, on the eighth day of the waxing moon of the tenth lunar month, the sixth day of the week (Friday), the writing was accomplished at the time of thae kai kham (between 15.00–16.30 o’clock). The initiator, Chan Fan from Hat Kaeo village had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Sòng Khan Dai to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
