One one accasion, while residing at the Jetavana monastery in Savatthi, the Buddha spoke about Ekavihari Thera to monks. Ekavihari Thera was a peaceful person. He liked to be alone, sit alone, stand alone, sleep alone and go for collecting alms alone. When other monks saw his practice, they went to report the Buddha and accused him that he has no unity in the groups. The Buddha then praised that, Good, good! The practice of perseverance alone, not lazy is a pleasant and should rejoice with. When those monks listened like that, most of them reached the stage of Sota fruition.
