The content tells the father king ordered the killer to take Suriyavong and Hong Amat to kill, because the king believed in his concubine’s provocation. On the other hand, the queen or the mother of Suriyavong and Hong Amat went to see the king to beg him to pardon the two sons but was unsuccessful. Then the mother went to the city gate to meet and bid farewell to the two children, both the mother and the children as well as all the townspeople who were there wept uncontrollably as pity the two princess. The townspeople denounced the king who was in lust and did not know the right and wrong in his actions. Colophon: Folio 52 on the recto side: The writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Sao Kham and her children are the sponsors. Xiang (ex-novice) Phaeng from the village of Sangkhalok is the scribe. This manuscript entitled Suriyavong Hong Amat is not accomplished. A total number of 10 fascicles.
