ອຸນຫັດສະວິໄຊ

ອຸນຫັດສະວິໄຊ ເປັນຄາຖາສັກສິດເຮັດໃຫ້ມີອາຍຸຍືນ ພະສົງນິຍົມໃຊ້ເທສະໜາໃນພິທີມຸງຄຸນຕ່າງໆ. ສະໄໝໜຶ່ງ ພະຜູ້ມີພະພາກເຈົ້າປະທັບຢູ່ຕາວະຕິງສາສະຫວັນ ມີເທວະບຸດຕົນໜຶ່ງຊື່ວ່າ ສຸປະຕິດຖິຕາ ທີ່ຈະໝົດອາຍຸໄຂພາຍໃນເຈັດວັນ. ຫຼັງຈາກນັ້ນ ຈະໄປຕົກນະຮົກເປັນເວລາແສນປີ ແລະຕໍ່ຈາກນັ້ນກໍ່ຈະໄປເກີດເປັນສັດເດຍລະສານຫຼາຍຈຳພວກເປັນເວລາພັນປີ ເນື່ອງດ້ວຍອະກຸສົນລະກໍາທີ່ເຮັດໄວ້ໃນຊາດກ່ອນ. ເທວະບຸດຕົນນັ້ນມີຄວາມວິຕົກກັງວົນຫຼາຍ ຈຶ່ງໄດ້ເຂົ້າໄປຂໍຄວາມຊ່ວຍເຫຼືອຈາກພະຍາອິນ. ພະຍາອິນໄດ້ພາໄປເຂົ້າເຝົ້າພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າ. ພະພຸດທະອົງຊົງສະແດງອຸນຫັດສະວິໄຊຄາຖາ ເມື່ອຈົບເທສະໜາແລ້ວ ເທວະດາທັງຫຼາຍມີພະຍາອິນເປັນປະທານໄດ້ບັນລຸທໍາວິເສດຄືມັກແລະຜົນ. ສ່ວນສຸປະຕິດຖິຕາເທບພະບຸດກໍ່ມີຈິດເຫຼື້ອມໃສແລະມີໃຈນ້ອມລະນຶກເຖິງພະພຸດທະເຈົ້າແລະເຫຼື້ອມໃສໃນພະທໍາຂອງພະອົງ. ປະການໜຶ່ງ ດ້ວຍອານິສົງແຫ່ງການຟັງອຸນຫັດສະວິໄຊຄາຖາຄັ້ງນີ້ ເຮັດໃຫ້ສຸປະຕິດຖິຕະເທບພະບຸດມີອາຍຸຍືນຍາວຕໍ່ໄປຈົນເຖິງສະໄໝທີ່ພະສີອະຣິຍະເມດໄຕພຸດທະເຈົ້າລົງມາຕັດສະຮູ້ ຈຶ່ງຈະຈຸດຕິລົງມາສູ່ໂລກມະນຸດແລະຈະໄດ້ເປັນພະອໍລະຫັນຕາຂີນາສົບອົງໜຶ່ງ. ຄໍາລົງທ້າຍ: ລານທີ ໗ ໜ້າ ໒: ຣິດຈະນາແລ້ວຍາມກອງງາຍເນີ ໝາຍມີ ແມ່ອອກຕູ່ນ ມີໃຈເຫລື້ອມໃສເປັນອັນຍິ່ງ ຈິ່ງໄດ້ສ້າງ ອຸນຫັດສະວິໄຊ ໄວ້ກັບສາສະໜາ ຂໍໃຫ້ມີອາຍຸຍືນຍາວ ໕ ພັນວັດສາ ກໍ່ຂ້າເທີ້ນ.

Unhatsavisai or Unhassavijaya is a sacred text causing longevity, read as a sermon by monks in the auspicious ceremonies. On one occasion, the Buddha was staying in Tavatimsa Heaven. At the time, Supatithita Devaputta was about to die within seven days, after which he was to be reborn as a hell-being for one hundred thousand years, thereafter, various species of animals and the disabled for thousands of lives because of his bad deeds in the former lives. He was very upset by this, so he went to ask for help from Indra who then led him to the Buddha. The Buddha then preached a sermon of the Unhassavijaya Khatha. At the end of the sermon, all the deities, headed by Indra, attained the special Dhamma, namely the path and fruition. As for Supatitthita, he had a mind of respect for the Buddha and his teachings. Moreover, with the virtue of listening to this Unhassavijaya Katha causing Supatitthita to have longevity until the time of Sri Ariyametteyya Buddha, and he thus will be reborn in the human world and become an Arahant. Colophon: Folio 7 on the verso side: The writing was accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Mae-ok (lay mother) Tun had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Unhatsavisai to support the Teachings of the Buddha. May Buddhism have longevity for 5000 years.
