The first part of the text is written in Pali language using by monks at Kathina ceremony. In the middle is the patimokkha, the Uposatha ceremony and the 227 precepts of monks. The last part of the text mentions the method and steps of ordination to novices, starting from the preparation of the persons who will be ordained as novices, paying homage to the preceptor, saying the vows, and then wearing the yellow robes and the preceptpr gives the ten precepts to the novices. Colophon: Folio 18 on the recto and verso sides: Buarabat Chunlasangkatrasa one hundred and 603 (corresponding with CS 1163), a huang hao year, a huang khai day, the eighth day of the waxing moon of the twelfth lunar month, the sixth day of the week (Friday), the writing was accomplished at the time of thae kai kham (between 15.00–16.30 o’clock). Chao Khanan Kham had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript dedicate to all his parents and relatives. May the results of this merit reach them. On the other hand, may all of us see the face of the noble one named Ariya Mettey who will attain enlightenment and become the Buddha in the future. May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna certainly and definitely.
