The text tells about the merit derived from the making of the manuscript called 8 Muen (Eighty thousand) and listening to the preaching of the Tipitaka by monks on various occasions. The good results will support the persons possessing heavenly status with becoming Indra living in Tāvatiṃsa heaven for eighty thousand heavenly years. After the heaven, they will come to the earth and become emperors ruling kingdoms and are respected by people. Colophon: Folio 13 on the recto side: Chunlasangkatrasa (CS) 1218, a hwai si year on the twelfth day of the waning moon of the fourth lunar month, the first day of the week (Sunday), a kat sai day, the writing was accomplished at the time of tut sai (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). Sao Kongkaeo and her husband, Chantha together with all their children had the most ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled 8 Mün (Eighty Thousand) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
