ກ້ານຊວ່າຍ ໝາຍເຖິງ ການອັງເຊີນ ຄືອັງເຊີນສິ່ງສັກສິດໃນສາກົນໂລກທີ່ມີລິດທານຸພາບທັງຫຼາຍ ໃຫ້ມາຮ່ວມພິທີມຸງຄຸນທີ່ກໍາລັງຈັດຂຶ້ນນັ້ນ. ໝາຍມີ ພະອິນ, ພະພົມ, ພະຍາຍົມ, ນາງເມກຄະຣາ, ນາງທໍລະນີ ກັບທັງເທວະດາທັງຫຼາຍທຸກຊັ້ນຟ້າ, ສຸປັນນາ, ຄຸດ, ນາກ, ຄັນທັບພະ, ພະນາຣາຍ, ພະເພີງ, ພະພາຍ, ພະອາທິດ, ພະຈັນ, ທ້າວຈະຕຸໂລກກະບານທັງສີ່, ແລະພະຍານາກ ໑໕ ຕະກູນທີ່ປົກຮັກສາເມືອງຫຼວງພະບາງ. ເນື້ອໃນທັງໝົດຂຽນດ້ວຍອັກສອນລາວບູຮານ ມີລັກສະນະເປັນກາບກອນ. ກວ້ານຊວ່າຍນີ້ແມ່ນນິຍົມໃຊ້ໃນພິທີມຸງຄຸນຕ່າງໆໃນນະຄອນຫຼວງພະບາງຕັ້ງແຕ່ອະດີຈົນເຖິງປັດຈຸບັນ.

Kan Swai means “invitation” that is to invite all sacred things in the universal to come and join as witness in the auspicious ceremony. The kan swai mentions Indra, brahmas, hades, mekkhala deity, mother earth, devas from all heavens, garudas, nagas, gandhavas, Vishnu, phaphoeng (fire), phaphai (wind), the sun, the moon, the four heavenly kings, and 15 families of naga kings who are protecting the Luang Prabang city. The text is written in Tham-Lao. This kan swai is popularly used in the auspicious ceremonies in Luang Prabang from the past until the present.
