The text tells about Vinnāna is consciousness or sense-awareness consisting of six as following: 1. Cakkhu-vinnāna: eye-consciousness 2. Sota-vinnāna: ear-consciousness 3. Ghāna-vinnāna: nose-consciousness 4. Jivha-vinnāna: tongue-consciousness 5. Kaya-vinnāna: body-consciousness 6. Mano-vinnāna: mind-consciousness. Colophon: Folio 40 on the recto side: In Chunlasangkatrasa (CS) 1274, a tao chai year, on the second day of the waning moon of the second lunar month, the second day of the week (Monday), the writingwas accomplished at the time of kòng ngai (between 7.30–9.00 o’clock). Mae Khambut from the village of Hua Phon together with her relatives, parent and siblings had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Phra That Katha to support the Teachings of Gotama Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Sudinnaṃ vatta me dānaṃ nibbānaṃ paranaṃ sukhaṃ niccaṃ dhuvaṃ (May the alms that I have already given be a condition to reach Nibbāna which is the greatest bliss constantly and certainly).
