Prayers with the whole text written in Pali are used by monks, novices and Buddhists in the chanting ceremony and other Buddhist ceremonies. There are many chapters including Yānī, Kāranī, Virūpakkhe, Purentam, Udena, Evamme luang, Appāsanne, Vipassi, Parittaṃ, Yatohaṃ, Yandun, Dukkhappatā, Jayanto, Sakkattva, Ekanāmmakiṃ, Kesā, Patisaṅkhāyo, Dassaime, Ahirā, Mettā, Bāhuṃ, Candimā, Suriyo, Kassapa, Moggala and Cundo. Colophon: Folio 19 on the recto and verso sides: Sangkat 2000200 27 (corresponding with CS 1227), a hap pao year, on the twelfth day of the waxing moon of the ninth lunar month, the fourth day of the week (Wednesday), a hap sai day. Thao Butsaba had the religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sutmon thang lai (Various prayers) to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. Nibbāna paccayo hontu no dhuvaṃ dhuvaṃ (May this be a condition to reach Nibbāna, certainly and certainly).
