The Dhammapada story of Mallika. Mallika was the wife of Bandula, the minister of Kusinara. As she bore no children, Bandula wished to send her back to her parent. However, when she went to bid farewell to the Buddha before her departure, the Buddha asked her to return to her husband. Bandula accepted her, thereby showing his faith to the Buddha. Later, Mallika was pregnant and bore twin sons sixteen times in a total of 32 sons. Each of them became perfect.
