Ordination of Pha Maha Bunpheng Virathammo/Khan Amat in Sim of Vat Saen Sukharam on February 10th, 1962 under Somdet Pha Sangkhalat Dhammayana Maha Thela (Bunthan Bupharat) of Vat Mai Suvannaphumaram is a preceptor, Pha Khamfan Silasangvara Maha Thela, Abbot of Vat Suvanna Khili is a right-hand prayer and Pha Khamchan Virachitto, Abbot of Vat Saen Sukharam is a left-hand prayer. This photograph shows that right-hand and left-hand prayers are asking Antarayikadhamma (eight conditions that disqualify one for monk-hood, usually chanted for monk’s ordination) from a new ordained monk in front of the Sangha.
