Tham Ting cave is located on the bank of the Mekong, opposit Ban Pak Ou and far from Luang Prabang province about 25 kilometre, as the name called "Tham Ting cave " Because inside of this cave there are alot of horn rock stick around inside called "Hin Ting" (horn rock). therefore they called Tham Ting cave, beside that inside the cave there are Buddha made by metal and wooden high 10 cm to 1.5 m about 2.500 Buddha statue. During the Lao New Year, Villagers of Luang Prabang would like to go there for Buddha watering and bring the Buddha to there for worship Lao Buddhism to stay for along forever. in 1960s.
