Abbot of Vat Khomkouang Luangparbang (1922-2006).born in Nov.12th.1922 in Phakhom district,Luangprabang,He ordination be a novice when he was 12 years old.in 1934 at Vat Khokvha,he ordination be a monk when he was 21 years old.at Vat Khokvha (chair ceremony)by Sathou Nyai Pan Potipanyo Vat Khomkouang.in May.2nd.1944,he received the abbot position Vat Khom kouang in 1962.He concentrate study every thing through as:Vipasana meditation,mason, carpentor,sculptor,pottor,all the charms, painter and others...and able contact by mind reach all the souls,he be the one famous monk in right side zone of Nhamkan or Phakhom district of Luangprabang(the funy special point of Sathou Nyai Khampan is; If have pupil or lay people talk partidularly mid-night if he lift hand touch his face three times he won't sleep and will converse through over night),He pass way in April.3rd .2006,84 years old,lived in monastery 63 years,This photo was taken in April.3rd.2006.
