The novice ordation ceremony, in front of the coffin of Mrs Souk (Mr Bounthan' s wife) from Ban Vat Saen, Luang Prabang in 1960s. The new ordained novice was the son of Mrs. Souk. Sathou Khamchan Virachitto (the abbot of Vat Saen Soukharam) was the preceptor and sat next to him was Sathou Phoumy Phalappatto (the abbot of Vat Nong Sikhounmeuang).
