The leaders of the Lao P.D.R, led by His Excellency Nouhak Phoumsavanh, the President of the Lao P.D.R (2nd from right, in a black suit) and His Exellency Phoumy Vongvichit (who held hand to pray), laid the wreath and paid respect to the coffin of Sathou Nyai Khamfanh Silasangvara Mahathera (the abbot of Vat Khili), in Saladhammaviharn (Dhamma Hall) of Vat Khili on his cremation day on 18 January 1987.
