Hand painted, studio solo portrait, full-length shot image of a bald man wearing only veshti, towel over his real left shoulder, with shaivite symbol (patai), on his arms and forehead, with a tight chain and a rudraksha pendant, standing, placing his hand on a wooden chair, facing the camera. A plant pot is seen on the real right side. He is Mr. Sathappa Chettiyar, great grand father of Mr. Chandramouli Chettiyar, painted in the year 1890 approximately and later developed and photographed.
