This series includes the Seven Treasuries, the commentary on the Guhyagarbha Tantra titled Dispelling the Darkness of the Ten Directions, and the Trilogy of Rest from the works of Longchen Rabjam. While the Seven Treasuries and Trilogy of Rest encompass nearly the entire spectrum of Buddhist teachings, they are particularly tied to the Dzogchen tradition. Within the Nyingma lineage, these works are regarded as the most comprehensive and precise exposition of Dzogchen View and Practice. Notably, the Treasury of Pith Instruction, the root text of the Treasury of Basic Space of Phenomena, and the root text of the Treasury of the Natural State from the Seven Treasuries are absent from this collection. All texts are presented in the traditional poti style with loose poti format. The manuscripts are written on cream-colored dhabné handmade paper in black ink. Preserved as sacred relics, they are housed in Tshelingkhor Temple. Stored in traditional bookshelves, each volume is carefully wrapped in multiple layers of cloth, secured between two wooden boards, and bound with string—demonstrating the profound reverence and meticulous care dedicated to preserving these spiritual treasures.
Extent: 12 volumes of manuscripts.
