The content explains the verse of Mangala Sutta, “Putta dārassa sangaho, The cherishing of children and wife is the highest blessing”. The cherishing of children means raising them, giving them education, training them to be good people and forbidding them from doing evils. The cherishing of wife is to praise, not to insult, not to behave unfaithfully, give greatness to her in the family and give objects such as clothes and jewelry according to the appropriate status. Colophon: Folio 25 on the recto side: The initiator, Chao Phunyai Nama Sena and his wife and children had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the making of this manuscript entitled Mangkhalathip (Mangaladipani), to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years.
