The rewards derived from making the cotton flags to worship the Triple Gem. In the Buddha’s time, there were four men together made a white flag, a yellow flag, a red flag, and a green flag to worship the Triple Gem. Thereafter, they were talking about the benefits of the making of those flags. They thus went to the present of the Buddha and quationed the Buddha about that. The Buddha said, the ones who made a white flag, a yellow flag, a red flag, and a green flag to worship the Triple Gem will gain much merit. They will be reborn as emperors surrounding with many servants. After the death, they will be born in the heaven and possess the heavenly properties.
