Itipiso with the whole text written in Pali in the form of stanza starting with “buddhādicco mahātejo dhammacando rasāharo sanghatāragano settho amhe rakkhantu pāyato, and etc.” It is used to recite at the ceremony of Buddhabhiseka and other great festivals such as the Vessantara Jataka festival in order to recollect the virtues of the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha and the perfections of the Buddha. Colophon: Folio 15 on the recto and verso side: Sisavatdi sisumangkhala maha chunlasangkatrasa (CS) 1281, a kat mot year, the seventh day of the waning moon of the twelfth lunar month, a kot sanga day, the sixth day of the week (Friday), the writing was accomplished at the time of tut sai (between 12.00–13.30 o’clock). Chao (princess) Kham Kham from the royal palace had the most ardent religious faith in the Teachings of the Buddha, along with her relatives sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Sut itipiso, in order to dedicate this merit to her late husband named Surivong who already died to the other world. May the results of this merit support and move him to a happiness place, may this merit be a golden and magical castle for him immediately. Amen, amen, I rejoice this merit.
