The text tells about the Buddha spoke to a Deva about the holiness of his Teachings. Even though, his teachings will go to the end in the near future even one day or a half of day or one hour or even a time. If someone incriminate or scold at a Buddha statue, a stupa, teachings, a monk or a novice, a Bodhi tree, a monk’s abode, or even the religious place, they are regarded as sinners. After the death, they will go to hells. Colophon: Folio 23 on the recto side: Buddhist Era (BE) 2506, a kap si year, the fourth day of the waxing moon of the tenth lunar month, a Thursday. The writing had accomplished. Sathu Phò Phatthaman from Vat Mai, Luang Prabang had the ardent religious faith to sponsor the palm leaves. His patronage Thit [Nya] from the village of Chan Tai, Luang Prabang together with his wife and children are the scribe and sponsor of this manuscript, to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May we all reach the three states of happiness with Nibbāna as the ultimate goal. I am Thit Nya the scribe of this manuscript, may I become a Buddha in the future.
