On one occasion, the Buddha was residing in Kapilavatthu, the Buddha delivered a sermon to his disciples and the people from eighty thousand families. The Buddha related to the two things that are dāna–alms-giving and sīla–morality. The results from alms-giving and observing precepts are different. Those who wish to gain lokiya sampatti (worldly success) such as kingship, millionaires, wealthy people, Indra, Brahma, or emperors. Their wishes are regarded as carelessness in life because of following with the ones graving. Those who wish to gain lokuttara sampatti (supramundane success) that is Nirvana, their whishe is sublime and ultimate. Colophon: Folio 27 on the recto side: In Pavoramangkhala Chunlasangkat (CS) 1253, a huang mao year, on the sixth day of the waxing moon of the sixth lunar month, a ka khai day, the writing was accomplished at the time of thae kai thiang (between 9.00–10.30 o’clock). Chao (Prince) Khamla sponsored the making of this manuscript [entitled] Munlanipphan to support the Teachings of the Buddha to last until the end of 5000 years. May the results of this merit support my father named Thu (Prince) Nya who died to the other world. Even if he has been stuck in a misery place, may he be moved to a good place, definitely. Nibbāna paccayo hotu no (May this be a condition for us to reach Nibbāna).
