Four works on Jyotiṣa

The bundle contains four works on Jyotiṣa and one Upaniṣad. These are: Ṛgvedāṅgajyotiṣa (Kālajñāna) by Lagadha - the very first work on Jyotiṣa, belonging to the tradition of the Ṛgveda (images 0013-0016). Malayalam [Deśāntaravarṇana] containing calculations of rāśis, etc. dates of grahas; Āllatūrdeśa is considered deśāntara (images 0017-0021). [Astrological remarks as to religious practices] in Sanskrit and Malayalam (images 0023-0028). [Text in Malayalam on muhūrtas] (images 0029-0118). Paiṅgalopaniṣad (images 0119-0126). The texts of the Ṛgvedāṅgajyotiṣa (Kālajñāna) and Paiṅgalopaniṣad are written in Grantha script, while the remaining texts are written in Malayalam script. All texts are incomplete. The manuscript is in good condition.
