A little-known independent treatise on Advaita-Vedānta in 12 chapters (varṇakas), of uncertain date but belonging to the second millennium (see Thangaswami 1980: 437-438). The work is meant as an introduction to the study of the Yoga-Vāsiṣṭha (K. Narayanaswami Aiyar & R. Sundareswara Sastri 1918). Malayalam prose renderings of a shorter version of this work (called Laghuvāsudevamanana) are also found in print (see K.
