According to the custodian, tht manuscript was composed by a Fulani scholar, who was also a disciple in the Taal family. It is a copy of another manuscript originally composed by Najlu bintu Safwata Abdul Mutalib. Najlu copied his manuscript from a text originally created by Sidi Ali Harazim Baradah. Baradah's original text was written in 1213/H. The work contains a long introduction explaining the purpose of the book. It pulls from the Qur'an and addresses the importance of knowing the Qur'an. Most importantly, it discusses the important status of Tijaniyya as a Sufi order and how the order embodies the essence of the Islamic faith. The manuscript itemizes and explains the signature recommendations of the Sufi order and discusses the rewards associated with the practice of each one of them. According to the custodian, the writing style used by Najlu speaks to a local Haalpulaar style. The text contains 6 chapters, each subdivided into sub-chapters. In addition to bibliographical information, the text outlines the different rites required in the Sufi order and their benefits. It also describes the ideal relationship between the shaykh/guide and his follower, as well as other esoteric rituals. It includes answers to questions that were addressed to Ahmad al-Tijani. The text lists a number of miracles that Shaykh Ahmad al-Tijani had performed during his lifetime.

Il s'agit d'une copie d'un autre manuscrit composé à l'origine par Najlu bintu Safwata Abdul Mutalib. Najlu a copié son manuscrit à partir d'un texte créé à l'origine par Sidi Ali Harazim Baradah. Condition of original material: unbound file in leather cover, pages are legible, black and red ink, foxing on paper, pages slightly torn on edges, not affecting content.

Custodial history: According to the current guardian, the manuscript waås owned by Seydu Nourou Taal (1873 - 1980) who had obtained it from his friend named Shaykh Muhammad Ndiaye.
